CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN
Lor
âAm I ever going to see you without those moon eyes again?â
My head jerked up at the sound of Lyriâs voice, ears already twitching with embarrassment. âWhat moon eyes?â
âLike the only thing going through your head is Jugs, Jugs, Jugs.â Lyri thumped down into the seat beside me beneath the bolska blooms, jerking his chin at the open ledger on the table with a sly grin. âUnless Raynirâs detailed description of what he ate for breakfast fifty years ago has got you feeling all aflutter.â
I tried not to blush. Perhaps my mind had drifted once or twice whilst reading Raynirâs terribly dull scribbles, but I was not moon-eyed.
âSo heâs still visiting, is he?â Lyri nudged me with his elbow as he leaned forward to steal my cup of tea. âHave you kissed again?â
Heat flooded my whole body, and I bent my head back over the ledger as though deep in concentration. We had certainly done more than just kissed. Over the past few weeks since that wonderful night, I had had some part of Jugs inside me almost every single night. His fingers, his cock. His tongue in my mouth, when we kissed for long, long moments. Heâd even dipped the tip of his tongue into the tiny hole for my extrusion a few times, which always made me writhe and shake uncontrollably.
âWell, well,â Lyri said slyly when I didnât respond. Warily, I lifted my head to eye him. âYouâve done more than kissing, have you?â He went still with the cup raised halfway to his mouth, silver eyes flashing and growing hard. âHe hasnât made you do anything you donât want to, has he?â
I huffed in irritation, reaching over to take my cup back. âOf course he hasnât. Jugs is the most gentle person I have ever met.â
I was usually the one who threw myself at him, attacking him with my lips and tongue, hurriedly trying to tug the clothes from his body. Jugs was always gentle with meâwell, until he was buried deep inside me. Then the pleasure got too much, and he fucked me so hard and fast that I could do nothing but take it. I shivered with lust, wishing he was here so that I could drag him back to my bedchambers for a while.
âWell, I wouldnât know, seeing as you keep him all to yourself,â Lyri muttered. âI just want to meet him, Lor. Especially now that youâreâ¦â He wiggled his fingers in my general direction. âYou know.â
I cleared my throat, taking a sip of tea. âYou have met him.â
âWell I didnât exactly get to talk to him, did I?â Lyri spluttered indignantly. âI couldnât understand him for most of it!â
I rolled my eyes. âYou just want to question him on human weapons and armies and wars.â
âNo,â Lyri said steadily. âI want to get to know the person my brother is besotted with. Actually.â
I sighed, shooting him a tiny smile. I couldnât deny it, and I didnât want to lie to Lyri anyway. I was besotted.
